A good training day

Monday, February 8, 2021  I did manage another halter training session with the brothers and I’ve come to realize they all do great if they are close together. The challenge yesterday was to get any one to trust me enough to walk away from the group. Rocky and Ryder were the most trusting and we went on a bit of an icy walk. With more snow in the forecast tomorrow, I hope to get one more session in today and make progress with the other two. In the past I’ve often asked for helpers to do this training with me, but it’s actually going great with only me. I can focus 100% of my energy on the boys and since they’ve been with me every day since birth I’m no big deal for them to get used to. Hopefully in the future we can have helpers join in the fun. We are in the over 70+ age group so we hope to get our vaccinations soon. One tiny step in the return to normal life! stay well~
