Wednesday, January 20, 2021 Warning_ slightly political post ahead, come back tomorrow for more farmy stuff. There is a feeling of relief and joy around here today. Yes we are celebrating. As he (who shall not be named) leaves office with the lowest approval rating since polls have been polling, we are filled with hope for the future. A big “quaranteam” family celebration is planned for the weekend. Originally we were calling it our RIB party. Retirement. Inauguration and Birthday. The menu was to include Ribs of course. But our Bangkok family wanted to help us celebrate so they are sending us live Lobsters from Maine! We’ll include them via Facetime for the party. #grateful

Dear Linda, I am sending you this post at the request of my Mother, Violet Richardson (88 yrs young). She used to follow you on Facebook but had to get off FB last fall as all the political & pandemic news was really affecting her. She misses her daily virtual visits to your peaceful ranch and your heartfelt posts. It is most important to her thet you know she (and I ) are praying for a safe & peaceful ceremony in Washington today. We are so happy to see a real human family move into the White House ( I understand there will even be 1or 2 pets). I think the whole world is breathing a sigh of relief and wish the Biden-Harris administration all the best for what will be tough & busy days ahead to sort out a wounded & troubled nation.
