Wednesday October 28, 2020 The guardian dogs were warning something to stay away from the fence line last night and although it does wake me, I’m grateful to know that they are taking care of business out there. We have had NO intruders in 17 years (except for one human who might or might not have been drunk) get past our team of white protectors. Lucky for aforementioned human, he didn’t go near the alpacas or they might have decided to charge him too. These dogs are amazing. They are very independent thinkers – perfect! I don’t want to have to tell them to chase the cougar away! They need to figure that out on their own. So they don’t always listen to me. They are expensive to feed, shed all year, bark a lot and are the best dogs ever for an alpaca farm. I will never be without them. 🐾 Happy Wednesday and stay well~
