Thursday October 8, 2020 The debate is now about weather or not we’ll see our first snow of the season this weekend. Oh you thought I was going to talk about that other debate? Nope, not here. Yes, I did watch and of course I have my opinion, but this is a “safe from politics” page, right? right. 😁
So back to the snow…. And why it is such a big deal. We have had virtually no rain all summer. Nada. So our ground is parched and pastures and trees are suffering. So any precipitation at all would be most welcome. We are so fortunate to have our creek flowing here so we have been able to irrigate and keep things green. Also the local ski resorts need that snow, and the sooner it starts the better for them. Many jobs and a lot of the local economy depend on the white stuff falling from the sky. So our fingers are crossed for some wet weather, white preferred and you can check back on Sunday to see if we need to start doing snow dancing or if we have a few flakes. ❄️ Happy Thursday and stay well~
