Friday September 18, 2020 Nothing like a burst water pipe under the house to make a Thursday evening complete. lol Locals take note: we called every single plumber in Summit and Wasatch county and not one called us back. (it was 4 pm, they were all “open”) But Black Diamond Plumbing in Salt Lake answered and sent a guy out here last night! yay! He was professional, competent and fixed the problem quickly. Running water is one of those things we’ve become quite used to. But we’ve learned how to do to take out dining, and the barn has it’s own water system so we were OK for one night. But grateful it’s fixed now. Thanks Black Diamond.
It’s pasture clean up day today here and I’m still hoping to get more grass seed down. I spent hours removing thistles and now I’d like some nice grasses to crowd them out. Maintaining “the grounds” here is a never ending labor of love. And because we want it all to be organic, no weed killers are ever used. It’s all good. Happy Friday and stay well~
