Friday September 4, 2020 So far operation “Tomatoes on Wheels” is working well! Any night that is even close to 32° will have me wheel the tomato wagon inside the garage right next to my doll making table. How cozy. And in the morning we go back out into the sunshine. Of course this plant is growing in deep alpaca beans so it is strong and healthy and producing lots of maters, just later in the season than we like. Because the cold nights last so long in the spring and into early summer, she got a late start. We are expecting a low of 26° on Tuesday (I even hear talk of snow!) so I doubt any tomato plants outside will survive that night. But I see lots of tomato sandwiches in my future! Happy Friday and stay well~

The way a tomato should look. Red, juicy, and mouth watering.
