A beautiful morning

Thursday August 27, 2020  I’m shipping out as many packages each day as I can, rest assured, if you ordered yarn or anything else from our store, it will be leaving here soon. I’m so very grateful for all the new orders!!!  Thank you.

Today we’re getting blood samples from the little boys to get them in the alpaca registry. Did you know every alpaca at Blue Moon Ranch is in the Alpaca registry?  Yep, every single one.  Their DNA proves their genetic story and their parents are all in the registry too. So when we register them, the parents we list must match with the DNA we send and then we’re all good. Once or twice over the years we had them tell us the parent don’t match, but we always got it figured out in the end. I’m sure these boys are all sons of Romulus, so we won’t have any issue this year. yay.  Stay well~
