Wednesday August 19, 2020 One more day of this extreme heat and then we’ll get back to normal August heat. We usually have our first frost the first week in September and I’m really looking forward to that! I usually do computer work in the mornings, and outside work in the afternoon but lately, I simply melt at around 11:00 am. and have to go back out for animal feeding and check ups at 8:00 pm. Some days the hay feeders don’t need any refills when the pastures are growing but I always check every animal at the end of every day. Last night the feeders did need refills because the pastures are slowing down – too much heat and no rain at all. It’s OK, I love what I do. stay well~
