Our new farm hand

Saturday August 15, 2020  A minor miracle happened here yesterday. I was sitting with my daughter saying how some days I really wish we had a worker here who could feed the animals, etc. and my darling grandson popped in and said “I’m here, why not let me do it?”  “Without me?” I said.  We’ve always done it together since he was a tiny toddler.  “Yep, he said. I can lift the hay bales and I know where to put them. I’ll check the water buckets for the little tweener boys and I’ll be sure to close all the gates”  OK, let’s try it!  And he did great! All by himself! Those hay bales are heavy!  I checked things when i went out to feed Blue his last meal and everything was done perfectly.  I offered to pay him and he said absolutely not. I think we found the best worker ever!  Too bad he doesn’t live on this side of the mountain. Luckily he does visit a lot. 😁  Enjoy your weekend and please stay well~
