Tuesday July 21, 2020 The barn cats are happy that the new hay is stacked and they have a new playground for hunting mice. They do an excellent job and they have so much fun doing it. We try to give them their best life with food and safe shelter when they want it, but also have to let them be cats when that is what they want to do. The boys, Bogart and Odin disappear from time to time and it always stresses me out, but they come back when they want to and are happy for some lap time and ear rubs. Maybe they’re really here but just hiding. Garbo our only girl stay here all the time now. (Yes the boys have been neutered and Garbo is spayed.) So last night I was was out skirting fleeces after dinner and I heard something in the tree above my head. I’m not sure who was more startled when I looked up, Odin or me! He eventually jumped down and sat on my lap for a while, and I’m glad I got this photo before he did. I wonder how long he had been up there? One more hiding place to check when I can’t find him. 😉 Stay well~

Oh my goodness the look on his face is priceless! He totally looks shocked. Thank you for sharing your wonderful world with us all. I spent many hours the other night (I’m embarrassed to share just how long) reading your past blog posts from the last several years. It was the mind escape that I needed. I laughed, I cried, and felt all of the emotions. It was like reading a well written novel, except it’s your life. And we are blessed to have you share a small portion of it with us. Thank you for being you, Linda. You’re wonderful and I love you!
P.S As I was reading, I thought what a wonderful treasure your blog is for your grandchildren to see how you lived. It’s a journal of your life. Priceless!
