Monday July 20, 2020 People keep asking if we’re open yet. I consider it, then I read this post from a Utah yarn and fiber dyer Carolyn, “This morning I learned that a fellow yarn dyer with three young children died from Covid 19. I am sick at heart for her family and the loss to our community. Please, my friends, wear a mask. We might not be able to always protect ourselves, but we can help protect others. I’d wear one day and night if it would bring a mother back to her family.” That mom made one poor decision that ended her life. The cases in Utah are still escalating and although we’re all tired of it and want things to be normal, they’re not. And we’re still seeing people in Utah refuse to wear masks. So when numbers go down or stabilize, we’ll consider opening up our home to the public, until then I’m sorry but I’m not a big risk taker.
In good news all our hay is now in for the year! We found more local hay and our best hay hauler Ike was ready to help – ending his camping weekend early and got every last bale stacked in the barn yesterday. whew!
We’ll keep you aware of happenings on the ranch through daily blog posts and until we can re open, please stay well!
Photo of the day: Can you smell it? Breathe in. It’s simply divine.
