Wednesday July 8, 2020 The hate and divisiveness in our country is out of control. The littlest topic can be turned in to political debate that quickly escalates to vitriol. Does this bother you? Well it does me. Here is what helps me, maybe it will help you. #1 Limit time on social media. Facebook has been great for my business, but socially it’s degrading. I have no apps on my phone and check in with the business page for a bit in the morning using my desktop and then I need to avoid it. #2 Realize you will not change someone’s mind or political persuasion using a keyboard and a screen. Insulting comments and spewing misinformation is easy when you do not see a real person in front of you. and #3 Choose love. Put gratitude and compassion in action and see what a difference it can make. Look for good things. They are there even in the darkest days. Stay well~
