Wednesday June 10, 2020 Today I’ll start working on the 2020 fleeces. (It’s been too cold to sit outside until today!) It’s always exciting to examine the harvest for the year and I do love opening up those bags. I have a skirting table under my favorite tree and I’ll be spending many hours sitting there skirting fleeces until fall. The baby fleeces do carry a bit of vegetation on them, so I just take my time and pick it all out. It’s pretty mindless so I can use that time to plan or think and it works out pretty well. I’ve already been talking and planning with Spinderella, our fiber processor, about some yummy yarns for this year. Batts for felting projects will be back soon. Roving for our spinning friends is in the works too. I hope you can do something you love today and of course stay well~
Photo of the day: Where’s Remy? With his green coat and his neck the size and color of the pipe rail fence, he gets lost in the landscape! Coat comes off today.
