Hurting

Tuesday June 2, 2020  My heart is hurting for this world.  I hurt for people of color who are afraid, I hurt for people of color who have been wronged for so long, and I hurt for the unprecedented divisiveness in our country right now. The half truths and exaggerated realities on social media are fanning the flames, yet in our fear and confusion, we search there for more information.  Yet on a farm, life goes on – animals need to be fed, pastures need to be watered and shearing day, our busiest day of the year is fast approaching. But we are not isolated form the sadness and fear around us. Be safe, show love not hate and please stay well.
