Thursday May 7, 2020 Oh those puppy boys sure do keep me busy. And their personalities are emerging in such different ways. They are both purebred pups and both showing signs true to their breed. Blue, the Great Pyrenees is bold and independent and a deep thinker. Banjo the Bernese Mountain Dog (or Berner for short) is a people loving boy, and will never stray very far from his people. We’ve had both pups on the new 4 acre property at different times and Banjo stays very close to us at all times, Blue is the brave little explorer and might come back when we call him. When Blue finds a toy, he “kills” it, shakes it and shakes it – just the way Chief does when he has eliminated raccoons and other night time intruders from the property. Banjo uses his squeaky toys to “talk” to us just like Belle does and we have quite the duet at times in here. Blue actually loves people too and I can’t wait to see how he’ll do with ranch visitors once that can happen again. Banjo loves all people and the other dogs, especially Blue when he gets to have a play date, but is happiest on my lap. Unfortunately they both like to dig! ugh. They both keep me hopping and I’m grateful they came into my life when they did. 💙🤍
Stay well~

I got my puppy to stop digging by putting some of her poop in the holes. Took about a week for her to stop. Good luck.
