Sunday May 3, 2020 Thunderstorms and a steady downpour of rain woke us early this morning but since we had barely a trace of rain for the whole month of April, we need it. The grass will really take off after this! yay. Thanks to everyone who picked up their bags of “beans” yesterday, we have a few bags left but more will be ready for next week. Your gardens will love it!
Our plan was to open the gate to the new pasture area today, but we’ll have to see how long the rain lasts. Our alpacas do not like rain, they think snow is OK, but rain gets them too wet and they know it. So they’re all tucked in the barns as I type and have no interest in open gates.
