Wednesday April 15, 2020 I got to do one of my favorite spring time activities yesterday. I rode the pasture vacuum (affectionately called the poop sucker) all around the pasture to collect and chop the “magic beans” that will make any garden grow better! By the weekend I’ll have bags ready for sale that you can buy on line and pick up safely. It’s supposed to snow and rain here most of the day so I’m glad I got it all collected yesterday. Of course the alpacas are busy making more beans today. lol
On the puppy scene, Banjo has learned that he’s tall enough to reach the counter tops! OY! For weeks I’ve been putting everything up to keep it way from his little teeth and now ….well….what now?. He’s smart and really wants to please me,so I’ll need to figure a way to convince him it’s a bad idea to jump up on the counters. And how did he get that big so quickly anyway???
Stay well~
Photo of the day: The Romulus babies from last year! Plus big sister Ramona, also a Romulus daughter. L to R Ryder, Ramona, Remy, Rocky and Roman. Ramona is a year older than the boys but she knows they are kin.

I’ve heard that an empty can with lid with some small stones/buttons, etc. inside works well. Just shake when errant behavior begins (“NO”) and the distraction will soon break the behavior. I remember hearing about that trick on an animal training video. Good luck – he is beautiful!

Thanks Mary. I’ll try that!
