Getting to know you 🎶

Sunday March 22. 2020  Puppy activity continues to dominate the scene at Blue Moon Ranch and that’s good. Blue is learning his turf and getting more and more curious about the alpacas. And that’s good too! The fence between them when he’s not on a leash is totally for his protection. Alpacas really do not care much for dogs, and some might try to stomp on him while he’s so small.  Slowly, very slowly we’ll have them be closer and closer and eventually they’ll live together harmoniously. But it doesn’t happen in a week. I feed the alpacas right next to his “playpen” in the barn so they are getting more used to each other every day. The point is I’d have to be home all day even if I didn’t have to be right now, so it’s life as normal here.  Stay well~
