Thursday March 19, 2020 Blue had his first day at his new job and since hes still in training we’re keeping him on leash for right now. He loves to explore and we need to keep him safe as he learns this new environment. He met the alpacas, he likes them, but they’re a little unsure of him yet. It will take time. Charlotte thinks he’s just right. It’s hard to get photos of the 2 of them because they are in perpetual motion and I have one hand on a leash! lol
People have been asking about our event in May. It’s too early to know at this time if we’ll be able to carry on. We’ll make that decision in April as we get closer to the event date. We are not booking private tours at this time and are refunding deposits for many of the ones that we had scheduled. Of course this hurts our bottom line, so I have decided to focus in our on line store and I am spending time every day (between puppy chores) getting that up to full speed. We do have some lovely new yarns in!

Does Blue stay outside like Chief and the other big white dog?
Linda
Yes, we need our guardian dogs to be out with the herd 24/7. He needs to learn about the alpacas and they need to earn about him. That will only happen if he stays outside with them. We are outside with him often during the day and he has a warm place inside the barn at night.
