Thursday February 13, 2020 The snow levels are receding a bit and the alpacas are being more adventurous where they explore during the day. It’s good to see them out stretching their legs. We do have some ice building up on the paths, so I take my walking stick with me whenever I’m outside. Falling on ice is not good no matter how old you are. Just ask my dear son in law who is flat on his back in bed after a nasty fall on ice this week. We’re trying to figure out some ways to make walking safe here on Saturday. If you are lucky enough to have tickets, please wear shoes or boots with some traction. thanks!
Photo of the day: Wanna hear a secret? Four legs work best for walking on ice.

Crampons are a good idea for traversing on ice/snow. Best of luck!
