Wednesday January 29, 2020 It’s time. Our dear old Jack has let us know for certain that he cannot go on like this. It was actually 4 years ago I took him to a vet when his hind legs gave out. They carried him on a stretcher in to the vet’s office and suggested I should put him down. But we took him home with steroids and started some supplements and with gentle exercise we gave him 4 more years. He was always happy to go for a short walk and loved when I’d lift him in the car to go for a ride. But lately he doesn’t want to go on walks and when I ask him if he wants go for a ride he just looks at me sadly. His body stopped working years ago but his spirit has diminished just lately. So the vet will come out here this afternoon, he’ll never be stressed and we’ll all miss him so very much. And I guess I can type through tears.

He can play with my Christie and Maggie and they will have tons of fun.

I am so sorry you are losing Dear Jack. He will join many who have gone before him and will have no pain, only joy Will be thinking of you and his earthly family.

Jack has been given the gift in his wonderful life of love and joy. Could any dog be more satisfied with a life well lived? And through my own tears I say, great work. No doggy could ever have been more happy. No Doggy ever had better care
