Saturday November 16, 2019 Have you ever been to a ribbon cutting event? Well that’s kind of what we’re doing today except instead of cutting through ribbon, we’re cutting through a metal pipe fence…. using the services of a welder rather than a scissors. lol I hope to be able to get photos – we also have a private tour group this afternoon that I will of course give my full attention to. Once the gates are in and we do a few more walkabouts, we’ll come up with more plans for future use of the new 4 acres. When Belle has been over there with us she helped us learn that the thistles must be removed before we put any fiber animals there! We’ve talked about everything from reindeer to rescue horses to an alpaca walking zone, where visitors could take an alpaca on a walk. So many ideas! But first, we cut the fence and install the gates and that is the big deal for today. Happy Saturday!
Photo of the day: The sunset was so beautiful last night I have to share.
