Animal neighbors

Tuesday October 8, 2019  Animal neighbors are the best neighbors. No offense to the human ones, I just prefer the ones with 4 legs. I grew up in the city of Chicago where the houses were so close together we talked to our neighbors through the windows facing each other and we never had to leave our home. The space between homes was called a gangway and trust me it was not very wide. I seriously have had a dream since I was a little girl to live some where that I did not see neighbors and I imagine that was why. People are great, but too much of a good thing can be suffocating. And perhaps my spirit just needed to stretch out a little. Anyway I do love my animals neighbors and am grateful every day that I live where I do.
