Tuesday October 1, 2019 Welcome October! This is my favorite month of the year. There are gorgeous colors every where we look as Mother Natures shows off her finest, temps have cooled down to reasonable levels and we still have at least a month before serious winter weather arrives. Most of the flies have disappeared (Yay) – they certainly didn’t stick around for our 22 degree morning today. The fleeces have grown out enough since shearing that the alpacas looks great and the dogs, both inside and outside are loving the cooler days. I also appreciate the earlier darkness as a sign that it’s time to slow down and rest in the evenings rather than be out with the animals til 8 or 9 pm. A very good time of year indeed.
