Tuesday August 13, 2019 Rocky gained another whole pound and I think it’s still a miracle that he’s here to celebrate his 1 week birthday. We celebrated by not making him wear a coat last night. 🙂 And that fleece, ooohhh I can hardly wait. What I wanted this year was light to white fleeces in our babies and this boy is growing some of the finest I’ve ever seen. It will keep him toasty warm this winter and next spring when he’s getting too warm, we’ll shear him and use it to make some of the softest yarn. Win win. I love the blacks and dark fleeces too, but a white fleece is like a blank canvas and the possibilities are endless.
My grandson will be here today as we squeeze in an extra day at the ranch before school starts. He hasn’t met Rocky or Roman so it will be fun to have him here for the day.
