Birthing tours and new yarn

Thursday August 1, 2019 Each day as we host more tours, I wonder how I’d handle it if one of the moms starts into labor. Our tour group yesterday spent almost the whole time inside the barn with the girls because it was raining. The girls were sweet, Gemma is becoming the new Scarlett and Angelica gave kisses. Scarlett is still here, she just wasn’t in the mood yesterday. lol Anyway, the preggers just lied around with bulges bumping under their tails and we talked about how labor and delivery is for alpaca moms. But at this point, no one is in labor …yet.  We have 2 tours scheduled for Saturday Aug 3 which is the official due date for these babies.  Will we do a birthing tour for one of them?  I’ll let you know! 

Meanwhile, new yarn is in the yarn barn and it’s lovely! I couldn’t resist and already made a hat from this colorway.
