Tuesday July 30, 2019 The 3 tweener boys are doing well with their adjustment to life away from the girls. They haven’t even put a dent in the grass available for them in the walking paths and the night time whining has almost stopped. They’re comfortable with their space in the boys barn and my next step will be to add a few of the gentler boys to the tweener area. Repeat until the tweener group is most of the males. Eventually we’ll have a new male herd and it will all have happened very gradually. 🙂
Photo of the day: The tweeners enjoy hay feeding time with the big bachelor boys.
