Tuesday July 16, 2019 We got our first bunch of fleeces back last night in yarn and roving and I am over the moon excited. 5 more bags of fleece are in Ed’s trunk on the way to Salt Lake City and will be next in line to get processed. We have shoppers coming today and tours the rest of the week and I know they’ll be delighted with what they find in the yarn barn. I’ll get the yarn into skeins and get labels on them, then I’ll bag and weigh the roving. I’ll try to get some listed in the on line store and I’ll let you know when that happens.
It’s a busy day here but I think I’m going to have to find a few minutes to spin some of this new roving. Might dust off the knitting needles too! 😁
In other news, we’ve been living without hot water since Saturday morning and finally got our boiler fixed. We’ve both been amazed at how awesome it is to turn a faucet and get hot water! We’ll not take that for granted for a while! #itsthelittlethings. Happy Tuesday!
Photo of the day: Don’t you love this yarn? I’ll take proper photos when the lighting is better, but wanted to show what I’m so excited about.
And for my spinning friends: new roving! And there’s more still in big bags. The yarn this is going to turn into will be so beautiful!
