Wednesday June 12, 2019 I hope to be skirting fleeces most of the day today, well, between feeding animals and such. We are lucky enough to have a wonderful fiber processor as a dear friend in Salt Lake City, so Ed will be the delivery guy as soon as I have enough ready to fill up his car. Our finished yarns have a very small carbon footprint and we like that. The ones that are not spun right here by me, travel less than an hour to be washed and spun in Salt Lake City. No trucks or planes involved in bringing farm fresh yarn to the yarn barn. Meanwhile the “fiber growers” are enjoying sunny days and grazing on abundant grass from our super rainy spring. Life is good. Happy Wednesday!
