Monday May 27, 2019 Today is an American holiday, observed on the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. Though it has evolved to barbecues and a launch of summer activities I think it’s important to remember the reason for the holiday. We hope you enjoy your day with friends and family but just pause for a moment to remember those who gave the greatest sacrifice.
We’re dealing with more rain here today as we try to get the barn ready for shearing day. Also coming up with plan B, where to keep all the animals – males and females before and after the shearing event if it’s raining. All shearing takes place in the main barn. Helpful ideas welcome!
