Monday May 20, 2019 It’s hard to believe it’s mid May and we’re still having temps in the 20’s overnight. Brrr. But things are greening up nicely and our plans for the open house next weekend are full steam ahead. Today we’re being interviewed for an article in the Park Record newspaper and then we have a school group coming this afternoon to learn about alpacas and alpaca yarn. We’re really hoping the weather cooperates with us today. I’m planning to set up my spinning wheel outside to show the students how we turn alpaca fleece into yarn. Will we get wet? I’ll have to ask the animals. The alpacas and birds can predict the weather better than the forecasters you know. It’s true! Happy Monday!
Photo of the day: Jett discuses the cold wet weather with one of the local magpies. They both agree we’ll have lots of visitors next weekend, rain or shine.
