Wednesday May 8 2019 I’m certainly glad we didn’t decide to shear early this year. Cold and rainy weather is making it a challenge to get the barn cleaned and I think the alpacas are still enjoying their fleeces. I’m expecting another wet day so will work on indoor project for now. The nice part of all this moisture is that the pastures are supporting most of the feed for the alpacas for now. I’m sure I’ll have some bales of hay to sell before we get our crop in for this year. That’s good!
Ticket sales for our spring Open Barn day are coming in every day and we’re so grateful that our fans and friends are planning on attending. Thank you!
