Thursday November 29, 2018 Major breakthrough with the cats! I finally got all 3 of them to eat in the barn together. Garbo and Bogart had been following me all over the ranch begging for food but afraid to go in the barn where Odin now decided to live. Cat food needs to be kept away from dogs, so inside the “cat pen” is the only safe place to put it. Garbo kind of growled while she ate but I now think there is a light at the end of the 3 cat tunnel! Baby steps, but this was a big one. :). The snow predicted overnight was minimal but more is predicted for today. The big barn is definitely the coziest place for all our animals to get out of the weather these days. We’ve started our winter bedding, and when it gets to single digits I add the heated floor. The glow of the heat lamps for the cats and the Christmas lights on the little tree makes it a little magical in there I think.
Photo of the day: It seems Odin is thriving on his food here and looks huge in this photo! Garbo is actually longer then he is although the camera angle make her look tiny. But all 3 together!!! 🙂
