Fire worries

Wednesday September 19, 2018  I’ve been getting emails and messages from friends who are concerned about us being near all the fires burning in Utah. It is a troubling situation for sure, over 90,000 acres burned, more than 2,000 homes evacuated and about 6,000 people remain away from their homes. One of the areas affected is Woodland Hills, but it is NOT Woodland. Yes, we are affected by the smoke, but at this time we are not in the path of any active fires. The nearest  fires are the Slate Fire, which is burning six miles northeast of Kamas, and remained at 268 acres in size and the Cobblerest Fire currently at about 100 acres in size burning 19 miles northeast of Kamas. Please pray for all the firefighters working to control these fires. Thank you all for your concerns.
