Tuesday September 18, 2018 I’m back from a wonderful trip to Santa Fe New Mexico with my dear sister and my lovely daughter. Sometimes you know, the moms, the nurturers and caregivers just need to take a rest and take care of themselves. We’ve been planning this trip and trying to make it happen for at least 6 years! And so we finally did it and it was perfect. We laughed, we cried, we talked easily for days. We ate amazing food, sampled all of Santa Fe’s best margaritas ( well maybe not all) , visited mind blowing art galleries and savored all the beauty of the Santa Fe Farmer’s Market. Huge thanks to Ed who held down the fort and to Beth and Meggan who came in to assist him as needed.
I’m happy to be home, baby Rowdy is growing and looking great. All the animals feed my soul too and this is where I belong. Life is good. Enjoy it.
