Thursday July 12, 2018 Hey, it worked! I asked my faithful readers to help me visualize healthy births and strong babies and we got 2 done yesterday! thank you! If I might ask, let’s try it one more time to get the last one here safely? 🙂 Minnie started labor early morning and pushed out a sweet gray baby boy around 9:30 am. Minnie is a very experienced mom so her labor went quickly and he’s a very strong beautiful baby. At the same time Allegra was just getting her labor started. Allegra is a first time mom and my oh my she took a long time with it. By 1:00 in the afternoon I was minutes away from calling the vet and just a few minutes later I saw a nose. I think she heard me say “call the vet”. I did need to help an elbow get over the pubic bone but after that, she delivered perfectly. Our first Romulus baby is stunning! And a girl! We’ll announce their names in a few days.
Photos of the day: Minnie’s boy gets love from two of the moms. Now we have 2 gray babies! Geneva weighed 15 pounds at birth, this little guy was 17 pounds at birth, so you can see how much she has grown. SilverLake is daddy to both. FYI the big belly near the green cart is holding on to our last baby of the year.
Allegra’s girl is full of amazing curls – thanks Romulus! Not quite dry but looking good!A very happy ending to a slightly stressful day.Favorite pose of the day: Hellloooo!
