Fire season :(

Thursday July 5, 2018  About 60 miles from here a horrible wild-fire is raging out of control.  It’s called the Dollar Ridge Fire and it has burned more than  40,000 acres.  When you see the photos of this fire and the devastation it’s caused, you can see why fireworks have been banned in this area. With no rain in the forecast, our prayers go out to the firefighters who are working tirelessly to get this under control. Homes have been evacuated and we’re holding good thoughts for any animals in that area. We’re also grateful that we heard no firework here last night and that minimizes the danger of new fires popping up.  Be safe out there!

Photo of the day: These two would like to thank the neighborhood for the quietest 4th of July ever.
