Friday June 15, 2018 All’s well at Blue Moon today. I was able to have a nice tour group without having a cria born at the same time. Miranda’s boy is doing solo laps around the pasture waiting for a playmate. Soon, little buddy – soon! Today is the “due date” for a few so I’ll be staying close to home. We have more private tours tomorrow, so I’d actually like to see a birth or two today. If we do have a birth and all is looking normal, I’ll try to put the cam on the newborn action. I didn’t do that with Miranda’s baby because I was worried and didn’t need my phone dinging with advice and questions from well-meaning viewers. Let’s hope the next one is one that we all can enjoy! Happy Friday!
Photos of the day: Scarlett ran right up to the gate when she saw we had visitors and started with a hug for Grandma. Meanwhile our newest arrival was happy to greet visitors by the creek. A few of the group even got to pet him before he trotted back to his mom.
