Tuesday May 22, 2018 Animals who need homes always seem to appear in front of me. It’s how we got both Charlotte and Chief! Anyway, my sweet grandson lost his beloved 18 yr old cat earlier this year and has sort of been hoping for some kitty to appear somewhere somehow that he could share his love with. So yesterday I saw a bunch of kittens in this area who needed a home and long story short they drove out here today and went home with a new kitten. This little kitty girl has no idea that she hit the jackpot with a loving home but she’ll figure that out soon enough. The other thing is that she has a black brother who ran toward me as we were leaving (of course I had to be there) and he meowed right at me, so of course I picked him up. We had an eye to eye moment. Such a friendly little guy, and I sort of think he wants to come home with me. Uh oh. Stay tuned to see how the rest of this story ends.
