Friday May 11, 2018 One of the questions I get asked frequently when we return from a trip is “Do they miss you?” meaning the animals of course. I notice when I return that the alpacas stare at me longer and seem to like to stand nearer to me for a few days. I think they are happy that i am back, but I don’t think they miss me all that much as long as someone feeds them. The dogs? Well that’s another story. The house dogs are beyond excited to have us home again and they definitely have more issues when we’re away. For at least a week, I take them everywhere I go and then they seem to be able to relax again. The guardian dogs outside react differently. Charlotte misses us most of all for some reason, and is the first to tun up and greet us. Abby wants her belly rubs and Chief is kind of aloof about it all. He’d be more upset if the alpacas left. But he does seem glad to see us. And I missed them all! Happy Friday!
