Saturday April 21, 2018 Once upon a time two people decided to build a nice log home on their property. It was a long and frustrating ordeal. One day the builder said to the lady ” Ma’am, that tree is in our way and has to go”, as he pointed to a tree in the driveway. ” Please work aroudnd it” said the lady. “No, it’s really in our way” said the builder. So the lady said she would sit in the tree day and night if necessary but firmly told him the tree HAD TO STAY. She watched them closely every time they went near her tree and was happy when the house was built and the tree was safe at last. The end.
Photo of the day: I remembered the story of our tree when we pulled in the driveway last night after dinner and it was so beautifully illuminated by the setting sun. Moral of the story: Speak up when you need to and hold your ground!
