Thursday April 5, 2018 If you’ve followed this blog for any length of time at all, you know how special I feel this place is. I felt it the first time I saw it in 2003 and I feel it today. One part of the magic is how often beautiful stones and crystals seem to bubble up to the surface from the earth. My grandson and I say it is like Mother Earth is giving us gifts. He’s a master gem finder. He found a huge rose quartz mostly buried in the front yarn a few years ago, and spend the rest of his day here scrubbing the dirt off it to reveal it’s beauty. Just a week or so ago he found another between the boys and girls pasture area. Here is what one of my crystal books says about rose quartz: “The fair and lovely Rose Quartz, with its gentle pink essence, is a stone of the heart, a Crystal of Unconditional Love. It carries a soft energy of compassion and peace, tenderness and healing, nourishment and comfort.” Coincidence? I think not. You must admit it fits us here at Blue Moon. 🙂
