Monday March 12, 2018 I spent quite a bit of time with the alpacas yesterday and what a great way to soothe a grumpy attitude because the silly time change. 🙂 I was looking for cria movement and noticing fleeces and generally I just enjoyed being with the critters. 🙂 Some girls who I had marked as not pregnant sure look big in the belly. but it’s really hard to tell for sure at this point. After shearing it’s usually easier to see movement and see the baby bulges. On my agenda for this week is to come up with a list of babies due with as much accuracy as I can. Happy Monday!
Photo of the day: Mavis does like to wear her food, and look at her mama Madeline watching me behind her. 👀 Interesting color genetics and Mavis’ dad was light silver-gray!

It’s too bad that they don’t make pee on pregnancy tests for alpacas. 😂

I agree! I heard there were some, but that they were not 100% accurate. Just like every other pregnancy test for these amazing animals. lol
