Tuesday February 20, 2018 I’ve been lucky enough to have many dogs in my life but Bodhi was one of the very most special ones. He actually was never my dog, he was owned by our son and daughter in law. Their overseas travel had him spend a few months or years with us throughout the years and I always loved it when he was with us. In July of 2014 my son called and asked if Bodhi coud spend his last few weeks with us as he was just diagnosed with lymphoma and the vet said he had only a few weeks to live. They were getting ready to move to their next assignment in Laos, so of course we agreed. But Bodhi ignored that diagnosis and totally beat his cancer. Sadly another kind of cancer took him from us yesterday. I’m grateful for the vet who came out in a snowstorm to help us take his pain away. His absence here is huge today and many hearts are broken. But Bodhi is joyful and grateful for no more pain and of this I am very sure. RIP dear Bodhi.

Oh Linda, how awful, I am so sorry for the loss. I have loved seeing all the pictures over the years and actually YOUR help in his healing. Very sad – Better place.
