Thursday December 21, 2017 Happy Winter Solstice! Even though the coldest part of winter will be in the next 2 months, it warms my heart to know that starting Friday, the sun will be up for a few seconds longer each day, signaling the start of our slow but steady march toward spring. I enjoyed having my little farm helper move hay for me and help with animal feeding yesterday. I’m grateful that at least one of our grandkids lives nearby. We got some christmas baking done and the house smells like cinnamon today! Added bonus – a few inches of snow fell last night and everything is sparkly white this morning. I can hear the snow plows making roads safe for us right now. Perfect.
