Tuesday August 29, 2017 We’re back from a quick trip to Washington DC to visit kids and grandkids. Many thanks to Meggan and her family for taking care of things here while we were away. They did an excellent job as first time ranch sitters. We consider ourselves very fortunate that we have friends who want to come and stay here when we need to get away for a bit. We got to meet our newest grandson who is just as adorable in person as he is in photos. We got reacquainted with the other two grandkids who we last saw when they lived in Laos. A trip to DC is definitely easier for us than a trip to Laos. Now to enjoy a few days of quiet in our lovely Utah sanctuary and then start getting things ready for Fall Open Barn Days.
Photo of the day: Newest grandson modelling his new hat, fiber grown at Blue Moon Ranch (Riverwalk available here) and knit by Yaya.
