Tuesday August 22, 2017 How did the animals act during the eclipse? Pretty much like any other day. It did get dark-ish, it definitely cooled down but it was life as usual on the farm. I was able to see it from time to time with my special glasses and it was fascinating to watch. I think we were at 94% here, so not like totality but definitely a noticeable event. I didn’t attempt to take any photos because I knew there would be so many great ones on the internet by people who were in total darkness or who had special lenses. It was so refreshing not to have as much politics in the news for one day!
