Thursday, July 20, 2017 Belle’s first day at Blue Moon Ranch couldn’t have been better. In keeping with her socialization training, we went to the Park City Farmers Market and she rode happily in her red wagon, accepting pets and praise from so many people. The house dogs accepted her into the pack, she figured out the dog door, and she was delighted to find about 800 dog toys in baskets on the deck. 🙂 (I knew I saved them for some reason) The alpacas are of course quite alarmed when they see her in the back yard but they will get used to her. She slept through the night with out a peep, the breeder had given me a blanket with her mom’s scent but we didn’t even need it. Today she’ll meet the guardian dogs. They’ve already met through the fence but today I’ll carry her out there for a formal introduction. We have a ranch tour for some visitors from Belgium scheduled this afternoon – it’s another busy day at Blue Moon!
