Thursday, August 11, 2016 We finally got some rain here! If we weren’t able to use the creek water for irrigation, our pastures would have been crispy a month ago. There is a most welcome chill in the air this morning too and I’m already excited for fall. It’s been exactly 2 months since shearing and I can tell that the alpacas have grown enough fleece that freezing nights won’t be a problem for them at all. The fleeces are slowly moving out of the garage and tomorrow I’ll show you some amazing stuff we just got back from the mill. Happy Thursday!
