Wednesday, May 11, 2016 It’s 24° here this morning! I’m glad we don’t even consider shearing in May, I’d have to put coats on every single one of them. As it is, they’re all quite toasty warm wearing their winter coats. Our shearing date is tentatively scheduled for June 4, I’m pretty sure it will be warm enough by that time. 🙂 The hummingbirds have arrived, along with the bright orange orioles, I’ll make sure they all have plenty of food to make it through this cold snap. Happy Wednesday!
Photo of the day: Marigold is so gentle with Betty the barn cat. I wonder if they’re talking about how nice it is to have their winter coats on this morning.
